the app is only useful to purchase tickets. other than that the app is useless. Wondering when the next bus or tram is arriving? the info on the app is 98% of the time false. But it is more the incompetence of ruter than the app. Embarrassing! Edit: 16.10.2025 The " continuous work " is not noticeable at all! in the 14 years that I live in Oslo. The bus/tram/metro coming in 3, 2,1...9.8minutes. So stop apologizing and do your job ruter! Even more embarrassing!

It should be possible to set a specific walking speed, the jump from moderate to fast is too big. Also, setting a minimum distance before suggesting taking the bus should be a setting. It is silly to propose taking a bus for less than a 10 minute walk.

I can't even create an account if I'm in Latin America. I'm beginning to think we won't be quite welcome in Oslo. Here's the nice message when trying to access the website: "The Amazon CloudFront distribution is configured to block access from your country.". Adding a second star since I was able to register my credit card. Hopefully I can use it without logging in.

Hi Jorge, you do not need a profile to use the Ruter app. Since you have an latin-american phone number you will not be able to receive the one time code in order to create a profile. We recommend you to use the app without having a profile. Kind regards, Mette/Ruter AS.
