As we all know, Brave Frontier was one of the best gatcha games ever created in the entirety of existence. So, when I saw the card game version, I didn't hesitate to download it. And so far, I'm not disappointed. From the dynamic tutorial system that teaches you as you explore the menu to the vibrant visuals and creative game play, this is definitely something worth trying.

It's okay. The BGM and the characters are very faithful recreations of the original game. Summoning isn't quite as cool though. The main problem is balance and fun. The game just isn't balanced. There's a very clear meta and it's not very beatable, and it doesn't really feel like rare cards are good cards. Collecting cards and actually playing the game also just isn't very fun. I think it could be a great game, but it might need another year of data collection from players and development.

Honestly... yikes. Hoping that they're just testing the waters for now but its really disheartening to see so many features blocked by NEEDING to purchase in game content. Having a separate version of "free" and "paid" gems is beyond sleezy and just outright greedy. Plus, the arena is full of NOTHING but bots using the SAME strategy. One of the things I liked most about the original game was evolving your units, an absent feature in this game. And the fact that there's NFT and crypto involved...
