nice little strategy game. the mechanics didnt get boring, every level felt challenging. As you adapt theres a new opponent to counter anticipate. I appreciated the difficulty adjustability. The voice acting was an unexpected and nice touch. The art-style is firmly caricature. I loved the aesthetics, sound effects & music. The humour is very edgelord-esque and there's a lot of references (observation, not a judgement). It doesn't take long to complete, but I had fun during my time with the game.

So, I really enjoyed this game for the single day it took to get through it, but the way it ends is so lame that it half ruins the entire experience. There you are, doing every case you can, upgrading whatever you have the option to upgrade, when BAM no matter how far you are from finishing your upgrades, you're on your last case with zero other options or warning, and it's completely different from all your other cases. Like really? So disappointing.

Under the cartoony art style and the whimsical writing, lies a deceptively tight RPG game. Halfway through and I'm loving it so far. Very worth playing in Hard mode to really test your understanding of the mechanics. My only gripe is that there doesn't seem to be a way of experimenting with different builds in the same playground.
