UX is really bad. Too much manual work. Why shopping list works better than food diary? Adding food to my diary is not an actual feature, It is just your self-written list. I expected to be able to add ingredients from FoodGuide to my Diary, and get a summary of a day/week how much FODMAP carbs I have eaten, so I can track the overall situation of my diet and control the overall FODMAP carbs eating. For me there is no real added value, now it is just "nice to have ++".

The searching is extremely inconsistent, and Monash gives you essentially zero actual usable information - nowhere in the app does it actually show the amount of any types of fodmaps in foods (even though they already did the lab testing and have the data), it just uses a ridiculous green/yellow/red system (with inconsistent portion sizes). Following a low fodmap diet is already hard enough, I really hope at some point in the future Monash stops being so anti-consumer. What a waste of $9.

Hi Coby, thanks for the feedback. We do not include specific FODMAP quantities of each food, as tracking grams of FODMAP content is not necessary on the diet. We understand that the low FODMAP diet can be confusing and burdensome already, so our conservative FODMAP cut-offs used in the app take away the need to track specific FODMAP quantities.

The quick reference food guide is so helpful in deciding what's ok to eat while on the FODMAP diet, especially because you can add it to the app's grocery list feature once you determine you can tolerate it. And the digital food diary you can share with your nutritionist is a great feature too.
