You need internet and location access to talk to a bluetooth device? Pair it. Talk to it. Why all the Cloud scam? Don't tell me you can't, I've seen it. I get why you may need location ONCE during pairing. But not always. Thought I found a good Thermo-/Hygrometer but the app is in itself a dark pattern, bad by design, to gatger as much data as possible. I despite this.

This review is based on my usage of the app with Inkbird's ITC-306A V4.0. Overall, I have no problems setting up this system with my aquarium. I have not had any problems setting up or monitoring the heater. The only suggestion I have is to add a feed mode where the heater is paused for a predetermined amount of time (for example, 10 minutes), so I can slow down my return pump while feeding, but I won't forget to turn things back on at the end.

Will not stay connected. I have an ITC-306A and it just won't stay connected more than a few days. That's really messed up because ever time I go to check my aquarium temp, it says disconnected. But then I go to add it (yet) again, and it immediately finds it on WiFi. It works great but won't stay connected, so remote checking of temp is useless, which is why I got it.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please understand that if the device is too far from the router, or if the number of devices connected to the router has reached the maximum, this situation may occur. We recommend placing it closer to the router, as this will help improve connection stability.
