Had my ReSound for a week now; going OK until day 5 when it wouldn't open because it was, it said, disconnected. The verbose, cryptic and convoluted little instruction manual says nothing about that, so I found someone on Reddit had posted a workaround, which I tried, and now I get a blank screen and no workaround to be found. For +$7000, not off to a good start. I see no phone support, and for that money, not having a manual that's clear and comprehensive will probably be a deal-breaker for me.

I was not overly impressed with the app to begin with. The app hasn't changed in years. The app worked for a couple weeks until Android sent a software update (Android 16). Now the app will not work with my phone. I know it isn't entirely GN's fault, but now I have $6000 hearing aids that I cannot access certain functions. The customer service contacted me, but after investigation, found the Android software to be at fault. Until Android fixes it, I am up the creek. If they fix it.

the app works when it stays connected, but it is very limited. I want more control. I want to choose to hear audio through the headset, choose to answer the phone in the ear pieces. do not use the mics either. this interferes with my car system when driving and someone calls. let me turn it off and on manually and default to off. speaking of which, sound settings defaulted to 'noise filter' would be better when first turning on. it's harsh as it is. especially as it takes so long to connect.
