It was fine for a day with my US60TR, then I dared to run a software update. Since then the app is refusing to connect. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even a fresh connection is failing. I can pair to the soundbar via Bluetooth as an audio source, which disconnects it from my TV, but I just get a 'failed to connect' error using the app, with Bluetooth active on my phone and search enabled on the device.

If you live in Europe, perhaps it's not too late - you have 14 days to return your soundbar after you bought it. I would highly recommend doing that. Connecting the app will be either very simple, or very difficult, it depends mostly on luck. However, I would pay attention to another thing - HDMI eARC works 50% of the time. If you want everything to just work every day, it's not going to happen. Prepare to troubleshoot every other day. I am sorry you bought this soundbar.

Wanna connect your soundbar to wifi? LOL! GOOD LUCK! 🤣 I spent close to a grand on my soundbar, subwoofer and rear speaker set all just to not be able to connect it to the wifi because of this worthless joke of an "app". Read the reviews, I'm not the only one and they clearly don't care to fix it for several years it seems like. At least the speakers sound good but will never play over wifi. What a disgrace, LG, I expected better.
