About this game

Many years ago, the Kingdom of Damerel was attacked by the demoness Daglaxaak. War raged and, while the people of Damerel fought valiantly, they began to lose ground - Daglaxaak was too powerful. Yet, when all hope was lost, a warrior by the name of Egmulf managed to banish the demon warlord to another dimension, where she was trapped for good. But peace may not last much longer, for the magic that has been keeping Daglaxaak from coming back is weakening! And it's up to you - the greatest of the King's warriors - to venture forth and prevent chaos from ensuing once again!

Really charming game with lovingly crafted graphics, familiar gameplay and very entertaining writing that doesn't take itself too seriously! I'm about an hour in and am having a blast so far! Some improvements I'd like to see: I'd love to have a "dynamically placed joystick" control option; being able to move the D-Pad around would be great, tho. Also maybeee an option to skip (some of the) intro slides? I personally love being able to just jump into the game real quickly. Keep up the good work!

We'll take the joystick idea into consideration for eventual future instances of Fateful Lore, thank you very much for the feedback! And we'll see if we can do anything with the intro slides for this game. We are very glad you are enjoying the game, thank you for your comment!

At single glance, this game is a good nostalgia game who miss the feel of playing JRPG games from NES era. Problem is, everything else is designed really poorly. From monster exp scaling, stat level scaling, equipment scaling, even the main story aren't that intriguing. I understand that most of turn based rpg games back then have the exact same kind of flaw, but having the exact same flaw nowadays where there is bunch of game theory analysis all over the internet is the epitome of being lazy

I've had this on my phone for a while now, getting through the story bit by bit (parenting tends to cut game time short, lol). I waited until I'd finished so I could give a fair review, and.. I'M ASTOUNDED! This game is a phenomenal, bite size RPG that can be enjoyed at ones own pace, and completed in about 8-10 hours. It's extremely simple, but that's honestly one of it's strongest points. 1 character to play means you don't spend hours customizing a party, and you can simply enjoy the story.
